TTN Las Vegas would like to introduce you to Cabo Pulmo the only live reef on the Mexican Riviera. Divers have come from all around the world who have experienced dive sites in the Caribbean, Australia and have said the coral and tropical fish seen at Cabo Pulmo rivals some of the world’s famous reefs and dive spots.
TTN Las Vegas strongly recommends guests who are visiting Los Cabos, to go on an overnight excursion to Cabo Pulmo, as by car it is about two hours away and by boat about one hour and thirty minutes.
Cabo Pulmo is a small town that consists of a few dive stores, beach cabanas available for nightly rental, a few bars and maybe two restaurants; it is a protected national park, so the building is controlled. This is great, as it is really like an undeveloped last frontier of Baja California South.
TTN Las Vegas highly recommends asking your dive guide to take you out to dive off of Playa Los Arbolitos which is a fabulous white sand beach about a 5-minute boat ride from the small town of Cabo Pulmo. This little beach is popular with tourists heading up on day trips from Cabo, but because it is difficult to find, it does not get crowded at all.
The Diving is extraordinary, for folk’s who want to snorkel you can wade out into the beautiful clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, and you start to see tropical fish steps in the water. Divers can hit the reef about a quarter mile off of the shoreline and see the fantastic coral reef and tropical fish that make you feel like you are watching the Discovery channel!
Our travels experts are sure that Cabo Pulmo will be one of the day trips or excursions that you will remember this excursion for a very long time to come. The natural beauty and serenity of the area and the color and clarity of the water is indeed one of the most pristine destinations in the entire world.
